| Beyonce Was Shocked By Telephone Plot |
Lady Gaga has praised Beyonce for her ‘courageous’ decision to appear in the video for new single ‘Telephone’. The pair star together in the controversial promo, which was released on Friday and has now been viewed more than 15 million times online. The clip, which features sex and violence and is over ten minutes long, sees an extensive guest turn from the former Destiny’s Child singer.
Speaking in an interview on US radio, Gaga paid tribute to her fellow pop icon, after revealing that her initial reaction to the proposal was: ‘What’s in your head, girl!?’ ”
‘She was very courageous in this video,’ she told Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS radio programme. Can you imagine me saying to her, ‘OK, now Beyoncé, you have to call me a very bad girl and feed me a honey bun’? ‘She trusted me because she liked my work and because she knew I loved her. It ended up being a masterpiece,’ said Gaga.
‘Telephone’ went up almost 20 places on the UK singles chart this weekend to number 12.

I’m starting to think that mybe it won’t be released, but it should be, cause the tour is awesome and I have to have a DVD with Beyoncé flying from one stage to the other, it will be amazing!!
Please Beyoncé release that DVD!

@André i think the dvd she did recorded at the Wyn Las Vegas was her dvd for the I Am… Tour, unfortunately. I don’t think she’s bringing one out for the actual concerts she did… maybe I’m wrong, but it seems unlikely! Fingers crossed I’m wrong!!!! :)

But some concerts in London were filmed, where Kanye West appeared and Jay and she sang Sweet Dreams and surfed into the crowd on Halo. So I think she spent some money and invested in doing the shooting and now it doesn’t come to DVD???
Wikipedia doesn’t have much info but still it says that the shootings are for a future DVD release….but when?
I have a theory: I think that the DVD will be out maybe in the beginning of summer because now she has I Am Yours in Las Vegas out in stores and is selling good, so maybe she will wait for the sales of that DVD to come down the charts and then have us a release date for the other DVD. What you think about my theory?

@ Andre thanks for the info!!!! I cannot believe she performed “Sweet Dreams” which is my fave track off “IASF” in London yet when she came to Trini a couple wks ago she didn’t do it! :(. What a HUGE disappointment! As for Kanyes being in London, did they perform “Ego rmx” 2gether? That is another one of my faves from “IASF”! :).
And did Jay come out in the beginning to do “Crazy In Love” with her? :)
Wow, why did she cut out some of the setlist uh? :(.
As for surfing in the crowd and flyin from stage to stage, this I gotta see! :).
Did she perform “Scared Of Lonely” in London as well?
Beyonce if this is true, if you are reading this, plz release that dvd! I know it gone do amazingly well!!!!

Beyonce I Am .. Tour DVD will be out late spring….
Beyonce show in London where her dvd was recored…Jay cam out to her break down…I Just Wanna Love Ya…..and Yes Kanye and Beyonce Performed EGO tgether…like the Video..He rapped first and Beyonce entered the stage afterwards….
THe dvd was going to drop in April….but I am…..Yours Vegas DVD is doing great numbers…
Be patient Fans… BET and CEntric is still play the I AM …Yours ….on their station….
Beyonce will not spend millions on a DVD beong made and then not release it….come on now fans…..

I was really wondering because as much as Gaga is popular, that is NOT how Bey rolls all the violence,weirdness and sexual scenes. I wish she kept her standard and said. “Girl what is going on in your head I can’t be apart of this insanity”. I guess if you want to please the fans you have to do whatever. This fan just loves Bey for being Bey…Gaga is too far gone for me. Just my opinion thats all.

@ Jodz I agree with U. I am a huge Bee fan but the scenes in the video are not what Bee should promote with her name. She didn’t do anything bad in the vid but she has signed it with her name and she has said many times that she knows she is a role model for many girls. She is always classy and gaga is not, unfortunately. still i’m glad that this is a huge success- good for Bee but she should think twice before she does another thing like that.

I’m glad that Beyonce didn’t get too extreme. But I guess since Gaga did Video Phone, Beyonce just respected how Gaga wanted to do her video. But I agree, Beyonce doesn’t even need all the craziness. Beyonce is so creative and talented without it.
