I think this is SO much better than the version they used. It has more story, makes the song more real.

Those are not Police, I don’t think, or maybe they are and he stole money from somewhere… either way this version is amazing and the Dark and Light comparison was brilliant. No matter how bad he really was, she always saw his Halo.

eh, its alrite… but i honestlyy like the first one much, MUCH better. i love that they were going for a story approach in this one but i didn’t really like the story lol or maybe it was just that it wasn’t played out that well; it was kinda confusing.

but i still like it! i love everything the Queen Bee does♥.

I liked this version better than the other version. The first one had too many bright lights in it for one and you really didn’t get to see the story unfold like this version here. I love it.

I have 2 say I was very disappointed. Talking about Halo vid. Probably Beyonce’s worst?!

When she performed it, it had so strong feelings, but the video was very weak and a bit embarrassing, because B’s not used to film love scenes.

Anyway, going to look at this vid now

I think this video has a much deeper meaning that the first one. By “I can see your halo”, she actually means, i can see what other people can’t see about you : your love, your tenderness etc. because in the video, he is obviously portrayed as the bad guy – that’s why people are chasing after him. It’s a mix of her perception and reality and both comes toghether in the end.
THAT said, her acting is still TERRIBLE and her scenes could have been developped a little bit.

So, while the concept of this video is much better than the one she released, it’s also a lot more depressing and halo for me is a joyful song

OMG! i’m crying for the video’s/her beauty… and the video made me cry sadly after IIWAB…
the other version is more happy,love song… but this one is another story. the guy could be dead and she can see his halo or he is a bad guy and despite this she can see his halo…
anothr perfect video…

i dont understand the story behind this video. i do love it tho. i like the way she had it from a lighter perspecitve and then a darker. i also love the scenes she did with the actor, very beautiful. someone please explain the video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
