Rolling Stone reviews Run The World (Girls)
Posted on Friday, April 29, 2011Comments (75)Join The Discussion

From “Independent Women” to “Single Ladies,” girl power has long been Beyoncé’s Topic A, and “Run the World (Girls)” is a blistering return to the theme. She forsakes fashionable sounds — no Eurodisco synths! — to belt over Diplo and Switch’s ferocious dancehall beat. The message is party-hearty feminism. But with Gaga, Britney, Katy, Rihanna and Taylor all vying to be the queen of pop, you can bet B isn’t looking to share the throne.

Posted on Tuesday, April 26, 2011Comments (94)Join The Discussion

    Via BeyRevolutionHQ:

Tomorrow Beyoncé’s new single “Run The World (Girls)” will officially go for adds to impact radio. I know the fans have been requesting like crazy, but we need to kick up into high gear for tomorrow’s impact! A system has been set up on twitter to help people request in their respected regions and a full list of all the twitter accounts will be posted at the end of the post. All you need to do is go to the Twitter account and view the Twitter list the page has created. There you’ll find all of the Twitter accounts of the radio stations in your area. Then all you have to do is tweet the radio stations and request the single. Also, follow the twitter page for request numbers, Facebook pages etc. On the HeadQuarter page, there will be a list of the Top Stations in the US, so be sure to tweet them too! If you don’t have a twitter account you can still request at requestbeyonce.net. The request day will be very important in getting Beyonce’s new single heard. Beyoncé would appreciate this very much!

PLEASE NOTE: A great way to request is to tell the station that you only caught a part of the song. Make a personal message to every station that you request too. Don’t use the same message to request. Don’t spam! Please refrain from requesting a song 50 times to one account and use your PERSONAL account, not one representing a fan group. Radio are less likely to play a song requested somewhere in America if the account requesting it is BeyonceSingapore.

See all the Twitters after the jump.

    More after the cut…
